Following the event of September 11 2001, ICAO and Concordia University (John Molson School of Business) joined force to create the first management program for airport security manager (AVSEC-PMC).

The program is targeted at all airport security managers and to all avaition managers that might have airport security as part of their responsability. The program is composed of about 70% on security best practices and 30% on general management skills.

EduConsillium was in charge of performing the feasibility study of the project and was actively involved in the financing in collaboration with multiples governmental agencies.

Our team also coordinated the different steps of the design, development and delivery of the program including:

• Creation of the steering committee;
• Development and validation of the program objectives;
• Development of the course material in collaboration with international subject matter expert and ICAO practice leaders;
• Selection of the different technologies and software needed for the project;
• RFP and vendor management;
• Planning and evaluation of the pilot project;
• Planning and administrating the program's formative evaluation;
• Management of the government and financing agencies.
